Strange album title but a great album: For the second time Small Faces makes my Album Rewind Pick of the month. They are a great hard rock band and very underrated. This blog has made me into a Small Faces fan for sure. Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake is a strange album title for sure, but it’s origin is pretty cool as its named after a popular tinned tobacco. Reminds me of the name of the band, Squirrel Nut Zippers, but I will get to them sometime in the future.
Hello, I’m Johnny Cash – From Folsom Prison was a comeback album for Johnny, and what a comeback! From Folsom Prison is one of the greatest live albums of all-time and the first one to be included on Album Rewind. Can you imagine being an inmate at Folsom Prison and Johnny Cash is playing live in your prison at 10:00 in the morning? Johnny Cash has always been one of my favorite country artists and I was lucky enough to see him when I was a kid. What a legend!
