Other notable releases this month – David Bowie – David Bowie. I like Bowie a lot. This album just isn’t very good.
Quick Notes – April 1967 was a pretty weak month for albums, but June might be even weaker. The Small Faces album is decent and The Bee Gees album has a few good songs on it, but otherwise there is nothing much going on.
Childhood Memory – The soundtrack for Disney’s The Jungle Book was released this month. I had that record when I was a kid and listened to it over and over again. “The Bear Necessities” and “I Wanna Be Like You” are classic Disney tunes!
My favorite songs from June 1967:
- Small Faces – Have You Seen Me
- Small Faces – Talk to You
- The Bee Gees – In My Own Time
- The Bee Gees – To Love Somebody
- Kaleidoscope – Keep Your Mind Open
